My Grandfather took over Bradstone Manor Farm in 1955 and my Dad succeeded him in 1967 and farmed at Bradstone until 1998. I grew up on the farm and spent many happy days riding ponies round the farm and swimming with them in the river; I have memories of the main yard being full of lambing sheep and the barns full of grain.
How times change!
I married Mark and we have raised our four children at Bradstone.
Bradstone is a quintessential period hamlet, friends have often said it should be a wedding venue!
My sister announced her engagement last year and decided to have her wedding at her family home. It was a great opportunity for us to see such a lovely event at Bradstone and we look forward to sharing this experience with others.
