The site will be available for sufficient time to set up and dismantle your event. If you think that an open setting for you to build your own occassion is too daunting, we have a list of service providers including wedding planners to hold your hand throughout and other providers including, caterers, furniture, discos, lighting, florists. These contact details can be provided as required and on links at the bottom of this page.
The price for hiring the Bradstone Wedding Venue for a period of 4 days (the number of days may be negotiable) is £3,000 subject to contract.
Use of the Gatehouse is included for the night preceding and the night following the Wedding. There are additional charges for the Church, levied by the Diocese of Exeter; the Gatehouse is available through Airbnb if additional nights are required.
The venue is best suited for between 50 and 90 people.
The Upper Barn
There are three separate spaces on the upper level, the main large dining or party barn, the kitchen at one end and a large comfy sofa room at the other. There is easy access to the main barn from the lane next to the traditional round house; and via steps from the original farm yard. There is a separate door directly off the lane to the kitchen allowing for easy access for for services and deliveries.
The kitchen has Bradstone spring water supply, a basic sink and drainer; together with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer and large work tables.
The large lounge room has a lower roof for a snug and cosy feel, enabling guests to relax and chat on a collection of sofas under festoon lights. There is a well stocked wood burner for those colder nights. And in the corner of the lounge area there is a beautifully crafted wooden bar with fridge and small freezer compartment.
The Lower Barn
Access is from the orginal farm yard, there is a small hall/cloak room and stairs to the upper barn and there is a large games room. Games include table tennis, snooker and skittles.
There is plenty of parking in the well lit farm yard; and plenty of overflow parking if required.
The gatehouse has been beautifully restored and makes for a magical honeymoon suite, and plenty of space for the wedding preparation. On the first floor there is the smallest most beautifully crafted kitchen, woodburner, dinning area and a couple of lounge chairs. On the upper floor there is a double bed and ensuite shower, loo and a basin.
The Church is not deconsecrated and is available for weddings or blessings. Arrangements to be made with the local vicar. Bradstone Church Contact details
